The Nursery program comprises of learners from ages 3 to 4 years. The program builds on the individual academic and social needs of learners. Learning to take care of themselves with increasing independence, creating and sustaining positive relationships and solving social problems in a large group setting are important parts of our students’ day.
Learning is experiential and play-based at this stage and includes a variety of manipulatives and child-initiated inquiries. Our program uses a developmentally-appropriate assessment tool that is continuum-based, allowing for teachers to develop differentiated engagements that lead to the success of all learners.
